Maintain confidential and accurate employee payroll records
Process weekly payroll, prepare checks and direct deposit stubs, and distribute payroll to department heads
Prepare and submit EDD forms and assist with required employment documentation
Compile and manage payroll data such as garnishments, vacation accruals, insurance deductions, and other withholdings
Produce and process weekly Certified Payroll Reports and upload DIR eCPR system
Upload and post hourly and monthly equipment usage files in Vista
Utilize platforms such as LCP Tracker for job setup and payroll reporting
Maintain thorough knowledge of public works paperwork and compliance procedures
Administer and monitor apprenticeship program compliance
Ensure adherence to California Labor Code and federal/state labor standards
Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors/vendors regarding payroll and compliance issues
Participate in special projects and provide support as needed
Maintain excellent attendance, which is essential to this role
PAY DOE 27$ to $29
